This weekend was THE BOMB! On Friday, we went to Riverfront Park, where we took a cable car to Spokane Falls, and Josi and I went on all sorts of amusement park rides. There was a small rollercoaster, a Tilt-a-Whirl (incase you don’t know what that is, it’s a fun ride where you spin around and around in a little car type thing.) a Ferris Wheel, and an AWESOME carousel, you know, the ones in the olden days where you go around and try to grab the little plastic rings. If you grab the brass ring, then you get a free ride on the carousel. It was really, REALLY fun! After that, we got in the car and drove to the BEAUTIFUL Priest Lake. It’s an hour and a half drive from Spokane to Priest Lake in North Idaho. Josi and I got to ride in Doug’s boat. It was great! We settled in with Aunt Helen, Cathy, Ryan, and Doug. Their cabin is awesome. It has two stories with the most comfortable seats you have ever sat in, two TV’s, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. That night we enjoyed Uno and Huckleberry Pie, SWEET!
The next morning, I awoke and watched the sun rise. It was incredible. We ate a breakfast of bacon, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. Right after breakfast, we got our swimsuits on and went down to the lake. There, we played in the sand, swam around, and I got to go with Ryan and Doug to town for another pie, and I got to ride in Ryan’s hot rod of a boat! It went 50 mph over small waves made by other boats. We were slicing through the waves! It was GREAT! After a while at the lake, Doug took us all on his bigger boat for a cruise on the lake. We stopped at the Hills Resort for gas and soon, we were back at the cabin. Cathy made us a snack of veggies, cheese, crackers, and salmon. Then, Ryan, Doug and I took a nap on the recliners in front of the TV. When I woke up, Cathy had made a yummy casserole and cornbread muffins. Yuuummm. . .
After dinner, we played ladder golf and Mom, Josi and I all took an AWESOME ride on Ryan’s boat. There were plenty of waves to jump and room to weave the cruiser through the sparkling lake. Then we dragged Wanda into the speeding boat. Boy THAT was interesting!!! She screamed bloody murder and Ryan scared the living daylights out of her! LOLOLOLZ! Well, now I’m in Wanda and Josi’s bedroom, typing this, but I SHOULD be downstairs eating pie and ice cream! Later!
